So According To An Article…
On the Ghost Newsletter there are different types of bloggers…
Dayna Winter, lead writer at Shopify, explains the different types of digital creators so you can find the perfect fit.
‣ Virutosos are experts in a niche field, like wellness, culinary arts, and finance. If you already have a successful career in your craft, take your expertise to the masses and start solving problems by offering tutorials, easy-to-digest data, and live demos. Creating your own blog is a great place to start.
‣ Bellwethers are modern-day influencers who use their unique tastes and perspectives to grow their audience. If you're a trendsetter, curator, or just tapped into culture in general, consider putting yourself out there on Instagram or Pinterest. You may just nab a brand deal or two.
‣ Performers are creators who know how to shine on camera like actors, musicians, and comedians. If you have a skill in a specific performing art and know how to use a video camera, hit the record button and post your talents on YouTube or TikTok to start building your personal brand.
I guess I’m in the performer category, but no, I don’t do videos. It’s kinda boring watching a synthesist doing his or her thing, the same kind of boring as watching a DJ waving their hands and weaving back and forth behind a console. So I promote my personal brand by sharing my experiences over the past nearly 20 years, and specifically focusing on the past 5 years of so.
