Something in Spotify’s new update caught my eye
Hey Fam,
I was reviewing Spotify’s latest update the same way I always do, expecting it to be another small tweak. But halfway through the details I stopped and thought, “Wait… this actually changes things.” I don’t think most artists are going to notice. The announcement sounds simple, but when you look a little deeper, it says a lot about where Spotify is trying to go and what they expect from creators moving forward.
Maybe if Spotify did something to benefit creators instead of Spotify demanding artists bend over and spread ‘em, maybe they wouldn’t be looking at mass defections.
